Artists From the Abyss #1

From the depths of the endless abyss . . . EC Comics and Oni Press proudly present the first in a new series of one-shot celebrations spotlighting the boldest and bloodiest talents from EC's new class of caustic cartoonists! (Take it from us: They really put the ill in illustrator, heh heh!) Our first victim? Comics legend and Eisner Awardwinning artist Charlie Adlard (The Walking Dead, Of the Earth)! For the first time between two covers, survey Adlard's punishing portfolio of uninvited resurrections, souls sold cheap, and spectacularly sadistic horrors as illustrated in the immortal EC Comics manner (with lots and lots of red, naturally). Plus: A brand-new, never-before-told tale reuniting Adlard with acclaimed writer and fellow survivor of the Tormentor's rack: Chris Condon (Ultimate Wolverine, That Texas Blood)! This is sure to be the most murderous mag you'll read all winter! Shovel and lyme not included.
