Eisner Award-winners David and Maria Lapham (STRAY BULLETS) bring their mind-bending neo-noir to an explosive conclusion that will redefine the sci-fi mystery as we know it. Detective Valencia Vallez is running out of time. Trapped in a City filled with detectives but no answers, every lead in the hunt for her husband's killer has only sent her chasing down another dead end. The City cops are closing in, demanding Val turn over the Mastermind behind the murder, while a gang of armed fugitives stalks her every move. With the walls closing in and nowhere left to turn, Val must do the unthinkable and hijack one of the City’s deadly mechanical Judges. Inside Val might finally find the Mastermind...and unlock the answers buried deep within her missing memories. But Val's learned that in The City, every answer comes with a price. The question is, how much is she willing to pay?
