Bagged Bucks FAQ

What are Bagged Bucks? They're a monthly thank-you for being a member. Monthly Box members get $5 in Bagged Bucks every month, and Weekly Box members get $10. You can spend them on extra comics and goodies on top of your pull list.

What can I spend them on? Anything in the Extras shop: back issues, Starter Kits, variants, graphic novels in stock, and Bagged merch.

Why can't I use them on my pull list or FOC preorders? Bucks are designed to help you find something new, not to pay for comics you've already ordered. Keeping them separate is how we keep membership at $5 a month. Your pull list is the reason you joined, and Bucks are the bonus on top.

When do I get them? On your membership billing date each month. Annual members get theirs monthly too, so there are 12 drops a year.

Do they expire? Yes. Each month's Bucks last 90 days from the day they land, so you can save up a few months for something bigger. Your account shows your balance and when each drop expires, and we'll email you a week before any Bucks are due to expire.

Can I use Bucks and pay the rest by card? Yes. Bucks come off first and you pay the difference as normal. Bucks can't be used on shipping.

What happens if I return something I bought with Bucks? The part you paid in Bucks goes back to your account as Bucks, and the part you paid by card goes back to your card. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law aren't affected.

What if I cancel, pause, or a payment fails?

If you cancel: you have 30 days to spend any Bucks you already have.
If you pause: your existing Bucks keep counting down, but no new Bucks arrive until you're back.
If a payment fails: that month's Bucks arrive once the payment goes through.

Can I swap them for cash or give them to someone else? No. Bucks aren't money and can't be cashed out or transferred. They're tied to your account.

Can I earn extra Bucks? Yes. Refer a friend who joins and you each get $5 in Bucks. We may run other bonus drops from time to time.

Bagged Bucks Terms

Earning. Bagged Bucks are a loyalty reward included with paid Bagged memberships. Monthly Box members receive $5 and Weekly Box members receive $10 in Bucks on each monthly billing date, once that month's membership payment has been received. Free plan accounts don't earn Bucks.
Spending. Bucks can be used on items in the Bagged Extras shop. They can't be used for pull list items, FOC preorders, shipping, membership fees, or the Founders First Bag.
Expiry. Each Bucks credit expires 90 days after it's issued. When you spend Bucks, the oldest ones are used first.
No cash value. Bucks have no cash value. They can't be exchanged for cash, transferred, sold, or combined across accounts.
Returns and refunds. If an item bought with Bucks is refunded, the Bucks part is returned as Bucks with its original expiry date. If that date has passed, it's reissued with 30 days to use it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Cancellation. If your membership ends, unused Bucks stay available for 30 days and are then removed.
Misuse. We may remove Bucks that were issued in error or obtained through misuse, such as fake referrals or reversed payments.
Changes. We may change or end the Bagged Bucks program with at least 30 days' notice by email. Any Bucks already issued can still be used until their expiry date, or for 30 days after the program ends if that's later.
